On 17 December, the Austrian company IPK, a recognised player in the heat pump sector, signed an agreement to transfer a majority stake in its capital to the AIRVANCE Group. This transaction forms part of the Group’s external growth strategy initiated in 2020.
IPK an Austrian success story
Based in Melk near Vienna, IPK is an Austrian distributor specializing in air conditioning, air‑to‑water heat pumps mainly in residential. As an official partner of brands such as LG and Hisense, the company has established itself in its market thanks to premium service and strong product availability.
IPK is experiencing rapid growth, driven by a service‑oriented strategy and substantial stocks of products and spare parts.
A strong presence in Austria
The investment in IPK strengthens AIRVANCE Group’s position in the air conditionning and heat pump market in Central Europe and opens new opportunities in the Austrian market, complementing our subsidiary PROFANT. It will enable us to expand our range of solution and accelerate our development in a key, fast‑growing segment.
A new chapter
Oliver KNIPPEL, son of the founder and Managing Director of IPK, together with his entire team, will continue to develop the company alongside Andreas SCHOBER, Managing Director of PROFANT. This collaboration is built on shared values: Excellence, Innovation and Commitment to serving our Customers.
This new shareholding marks the beginning of a promising new chapter in the history of the Airvance Group.
